Company Information SubChem Systems was incorporated in Rhode Island during 1996 to meet a growing demand for submersible chemical analyzers for contemporary oceanographic, limnological and environmental applications. A primary goal of our company is to develop and introduce new and improved technology to the global environmental and oceanographic instrumentation markets - submersible chemical analyzers for water quality monitoring. SubChem Systems has recently completed development of a compact submersible multi-nutrient analyzer, the SubChemPak Analyzer. The design for the instrument was based upon the successful prototype developed by Dr. Alfred K. Hanson with NAVY (ONR) funding. The commercial development has been sponsored in part by the URI Ocean Technology Center, the RI Slater Center for Ocean Technology, and the RI Economic Development Corp.
