Autonomous
Profiling Nutrient
Analyzers (APNA) for the Ocean Response Coastal Analysis System (ORCAS).
ORCAS is a system of ship-deployed and autonomous moored bottom-up profilers for
real-time monitoring of multiple biological, physical, chemical, and optical parameters within the ocean, in 3-D space and time.
ORCAS was developed by URI, Government and Industry
partners with Funding provided by the National Ocean Partnership Program (NOPP). |

an autonomous underwater vehicle developed by ocean engineers at WHOI
and commercialized by Hydroid. The chemical analyzer for REMUS
was developed as a
collaborative educational project involving URI seniors in ocean
engineering, SubChem Systems, URI and WHOI ocean engineers, the RI Slater
Center for Ocean Technology, and the Naval
Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division. |
